There is a certainty here that USA won't attack us, but Iranian in another countries specially in US don't think like that, one of my friends is sure that after Iraq is our turn, maybe because of articles like this, which states
Bush will attack Iran in 2004.

Zahra Eshraghi denied statements which NYTimes wrote from her,she is now in Mecca with her husband and says this reporter only
attended a private women party in her house , there wasn't any report, it was only a private conversation. She also adds that "even I criticised using chador to show a bad picture of Islamic Republic" well this is more acceptable
, she must be more clever to give that gift to Keyhanis.

I don't know much history, but it seems there is something special about this war. And that's the anti-war feelings all over the world. I have heard this sentence many times, that "why nobody cared about us (Iranians) when there was war between Iran and Iraq?" I don't know is it again politics? Is it only romantisism? Or ...? But I want to be optimist and think that it is all due to the improvemnet of broadcasting. Now everbody can write and many read it. Even someone right close to Baghdad. If they show a film from Najaf and show poeple in crowds and claim that they are welcoming Americans, there is someone else who shows the same picture a little wider and you see that they are trying to keep the soldiers from getting close to Imam Ali's shrine. And ... .

Ayatolaah Systaani told people "to remain calm and not hinder operations by coalition forces",this is what persian BBC wrote, after reading this I wrote these lines :
ha if this is true, and if it's not one of the American-British "psychological war" tricks,it shows what? Mr Systani doesn't know if America win this war, Iraq will have an American leadership which will have a close relationship with Israel, and it's not good neither for
Iraqi's nor for any other muslim in the world. or maybe the most important thing in the world is Najaf where he lives and there is no need to care about the others, is it really true?
But when I searched the English news to place here, I found this

US forces say Ayatollah Sistani, a prominent cleric for Iraq's majority Shia Muslims, issued an edict calling on people to remain calm and not hinder operations by coalition forces but his office denied this, Arabic news channel al-Jazeera reports .

Persian BBC doesn't mention "his office denied this", what do you think? Politics is dirty ,it's really dirty...

I hate Saddam, I hate all the dictators in the world, but I believe this is not a good way to get rid of them, I feel pity for Iraqis after so many years of war , because after this war if Americe lost the war they should suffer another dictatorship regime, and if America won as Collin Powell said :

"Saddam Hussein is a terrible person, he is a threat to his own people. I think his people would be better off with a different leader, but there is this sort of romantic notion that if Saddam Hussein got hit by a bus tomorrow, some Jeffersonian democrat is waiting in the wings to hold popular elections. You're going to get probably another Saddam Hussein. It will take a little while for them to paint the pictures all over the walls again but there should be no illusions about the natureof that country or its society. And the American people and all of the people who second-guess us now would have been outraged if we had gone on to Baghdad and we found ourselves in Baghdad with American soldiers patrolling the streets two years later still looking for Jefferson. "

American army wouldn't bring them a democratic country as they promised. Maybe these costs are paid for their cheers after each war and each victory their army achieved without thinking why? why should we kill others? why should we obey this demon ? But they didn't and don't think like many others (now obviously Americans) in the world, people don't use their minds, why?

I'd like to talk about the movies I saw recently!
Naked States was very good. It's made in a very natural way !
Amadeus , which is based on Mozart's life. amazing! specially the end when Salieri helps him write part of the "Mass Requiem" ( i don't know if I spelled it correct or no!) and he dies after that!
and Harrison's flower, which is about a journalist going to Yugoslavia to take pictures during the war ( the war between Serbs and etc.)
and his wife goes after him and finds him in a hospital half sane.It tuched me, the scenes from the war were very sad. It makes you "hate",hate war!

There is this place very close to the college I go to which is usually a place we hang out ! Last night after a long time we went there again! Guess what we saw! They don't sell French liquores anymore! They also don't call Fried potatos "French Fries" anymore!
Maybe "freedom fries" ! Well France is against the war!
Anybody have any suggestion for French roast coffee ?!

"I'm sorry to say that the chador was forced on women"

She is really a rebel,Zahra Eshraghi , granddaughter of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, tells about her thoughts which most of them are taboos in our society specially for those who belong to this regime , now distance between people and regime is seen even in governmental families.
